1. The enquiry form

The form on this site collects three things: your name, your email address, and your message.

They are used for one purpose — so I can read your enquiry and reply to it. Nothing from the form is used for marketing lists, sold, or shared with anyone for their own purposes.

Submissions are processed and stored by Netlify, who host this site and handle its forms on my behalf, and then reach me by email. Both act as processors for me. I keep enquiries only for as long as they are useful for dealing with your enquiry and any work that follows from it, and delete them when they are not.

2. Booking a call

The "Book a call" buttons open Calendly in an overlay. If you book, the details you enter there (name, email, and anything you add) are handled by Calendly as part of providing the scheduling service, and are used to arrange and attend the call. Calendly is a third-party service with its own privacy notice and its own cookies, which apply once you open the booking window.

3. Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies of its own, and uses no analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts. Nothing is written to your browser's local or session storage. Fonts are served from this domain rather than from a third party, so simply loading a page does not contact anyone else.

The one exception is section 2 above: opening the Calendly booking overlay loads Calendly's own code, which may set its own cookies. That only happens if you choose to open it.

4. Client data

The systems I build often handle personal data belonging to a client's own customers — enquiries, contact details, job records. Where I process personal data on a client's behalf, that processing is governed by a signed Data Processing Agreement between us, which sets out what may be processed, for what purpose, and on what terms.

Client data is used only to deliver and support the system it belongs to. It is never used to train anything for another client, and never shared beyond the platforms needed to run that client's system.

5. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask what personal data I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, ask for a copy of it, or object to how it is being used. Just ask and I will deal with it.

Roost Labs is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). If you are not satisfied with how I have handled a request, you can raise it with the ICO.
