I narrowed down to this trade because of what I kept seeing inside these businesses. The fitting runs well — that part is skilled and it's handled. It's everything wrapped around it that leaks: enquiries landing at nine at night in the middle of a heatwave, a survey done on Tuesday and quoted at the kitchen table on Thursday, a job living across a notebook, a WhatsApp thread and an inbox at the same time.

The run from enquiry to install has enough of its own quirks in this trade — survey lead times, supplier waits, F-gas paperwork, grant eligibility — that general tools never quite fit it. You end up bending the business around the software.

So I build for one trade only. It means the systems already understand what a multi-split job looks like, why August runs differently from February, and what F-gas paperwork has to capture.

Not an account manager, not a support queue, and not a reseller of someone else's platform. The person who hears what you need on the call is the person who scopes it, builds it, puts it live and fixes it when something's off.
