Roost Labs builds bespoke systems that take the repetitive, time-draining operational work off independent UK letting agents — so their teams spend time where it counts. We are not a generic software shop applying the same template to every industry.
The focus is deliberate. Letting is its own world: its own compliance, its own deadlines, its own rhythm of enquiries, referencing, and landlord relationships. Building only for UK property means we already understand the terrain before the first call — and the systems we deliver are shaped by that, not bolted on after.

The founder

Roost Labs is led by James Wiles, based in London. James builds and runs every system Roost Labs delivers and works directly with each agency — no account managers, no handoffs, no being passed around. You deal with the person who actually builds the thing.
That is the advantage of working with someone focused rather than a layered agency. The person who hears your problem on the first call is the person who designs the system, sets it live, and refines it on real use. Nothing is lost in translation, because there is no one to translate it to.
